The Greens win balance of power in the Senate

Our Senate campaign for the Federal Election 2010 couldn’t have produced a more stunning result. The Greens have won a Senate seat in every State, including their first ever Greens Senators in Queensland and Victoria. This gives them the power to shape the agenda of the new Government and achieve real outcomes for Australia. On top of this, Adam Bandt’s lower house victory for the seat of Melbourne has seen the Greens truly make history.
